Home is not where you choose to live. Its who you choose to live with. We have been through many moves my little and I. All upgrades to better versions of where we are and where we want to be. I'm thankful for each lesson of each apartment complex or duplex I lived in.
I started in a one bedroom, moved to a two bedroom, then a two bed Duplex with a garage. Now I'm in a house.
But the journey of where I lived didn't define me, didn't define what was home.
Sharing my space with the best roommate ever is what made each move fun, a new adventure.
So many people have plans for each step of their life. By this time I will have graduated college, gotten married, bought a house, started my career.
We leave no room for adventure, for side roads and other opportunities. It is very important to take time to plan what you want in life and how to get there, but try not to become so fixated upon that rough draft of life. Life is more than a rough draft, it is a journey.
Don't let the journey define how you look at your life path. Instead enjoy the journey, the new adventures, new roads. For they lead you to new opprotunities :)
