Heart felt Goodbye's

Not only do we feel the missing piece but so do the fur babies. The next morning I showered and filled a coffee cup. The house still felt empty. Then my little Theador came over to me. Lifted his paw and held my hand. Cuddled and hugged me for 30 minuets. I realized that he too was hurting. He smelled the bag our little girl was buried in so he would know where she was, and he also needed extra support during this time.

There is something beautiful about the connections between animals and humans. The ability to feel how we feel, to know when to comfort, and to foresee when we need help.

This is why I am a dog person for life.
